This November 24, the opening ceremony of a new shopping and entertainment mall RIO with 20,000 sq.m. GBA was held in the centre of Saransk. 100% of its tenants were already operating. Tashir Group has invested a total of 35M USD in the project.

A new RIO Mall opening in Vologda has been announced by Tashir Group. The new facility with over 50,000 sq.m. GBA will be the 17th operating mall in Tashir’s portfolio and the 11th project in the federal RIO chain. Tashir, as usual, was the single executor of all project realization stages. The Group’s investments totaled 75 million USD.

This October 20, the capital of Armenia celebrated the opening of Dalma Garden Mall, the country’s first-ever conceptual multifunctional shopping and entertainment centre. The project was realized by Dalma Invest, Tashir Group’s daughter company in Yerevan. Tashir has invested a total of 50M USD in the project.

On August 4, 2012, the ceremony of RIO mall inauguration took place in Orel. The new RIO with 40,000 sq.m. GBA presented over 60 shops within its shopping gallery and became the city’s first conceptual retail complex to gather all entertainment types together. RIO mall opening in Orel coincided with the City Day.

This August 3, Yaroslavl saw the grand opening of SK Royal Hotel. Tashir Group was the single executor of all project realization stages. It designed and constructed the hotel and will now proceed to manage it.

Tashir Group has announced commissioning of a business-class residential complex, Dirigible, on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow.The object's unusual upper-floor architecture imitates an airship. In 2004 the project won a special Most Original Architecture award at Novy Dom 2004, a competition of residential housing designs.

This June 15, the ceremony of a new RIO Mall inauguration was held in St. Petersburg. The 70,000 sq.m. GBA mall features 120 stores by leading operators of both federal and international retail. RIO project was financed, developed and constructed by Tashir Group. Tashir has invested a total of 120M USD in the project.

This April 5, Tashir Group opened its new RIO mall in Rostov-on-Don. A total of 170M USD has been invested in the project. At 100,000 sq.m. GBA, anchor tenants include Nash Gipermarket food retailer owned by Sedmoy Kontinent, Eldorado home appliances store, and Nash Dom DIY hypermarket.

This March 1, a new, 20,000 sq.m. GBA RIO mall was inaugurated in Kaluga. Nikolay Polezhaev, Mayor of Kaluga, took part in the opening ceremony. Tashir has invested a total of 40M USD in the project.

On December 14th the Person of the Year 2011 award ceremony took place in Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Moscow. The ceremony was organised by the Russian Biographical Institute,  Institute of Economic Strategy and the Orthodox Businessmen Club. Samvel Karapetyan, president and founder of Tashir group of companies, was awarded the prize in the Regional Development category for his contribution to economic and cultural development in Russian regions.
