Samvel Karapetyan makes Forbes list of Russia’s most powerful people

Tashir Group President and founder Samvel Karapetyan is on the Top 100 list of Russia’s most powerful government officials, business people, top executives and security chiefs put together by Forbes.

Samvel Karapetyan is ranked 95th in the magazine’s inaugural list. The list is topped by Vladimir Putin, German Gref, Alexey Miller, Igor Sechin, Dmitry Medvedev, Vladimir Bogdanov, Elvira Nabiullina and other powerful people representing various sectors of Russia’s economy and politics. The ranking is based on the amount of human and financial resources that they have sway over, as well as their influence on other people’s lives. The final list of 100 most powerful people was selected from the long list of 1,500 richest businessmen, top executives of the biggest companies, security agency chiefs, government officials, senior lawmakers and regional leaders.
