Tashir group builds hypermarkets for Leroy Merlin

Tashir Group is in the final stages of building Leroy Merlin hypermarkets in Petrozavodsk with a total area of 17,000 m2 and in Arkhangelsk with a total area of 16,976 m2. These will be the first Leroy Merlin hypermarkets to be opened in both cities.

The 2 billion ruble partnership agreement between the two companies, making Tashir the general contractor in charge of building two new DIY hypermarkets, was signed in 2015. Starting this fall, people in Petrozavodsk and Arkhangelsk will be able to purchase all home-improvement and gardening products at affordable prices under the same roof.

The Petrozavodsk hypermarket is near the Lesnoi Prospekt-Universitetskaya interchange. Currently, sandwich panels are being mounted, stairwells are being fitted, and external utility pipes are being laid. The project envisages landscaping, including planting trees and shrubs. For customers’ convenience, a parking lot for 800 cars will be built next to the mall.

The Arkhangelsk hypermarket is in the Lomonosovsky District, at the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt, one of the city’s main streets, and Kasatkina Street. Currently, construction workers are closing the perimeter of the sales area and continuing their work on warehouse and office facilities. This project involves landscaping and planting as well. For customers’ convenience, a parking lot for 800 cars will be built next to the mall.
