The Tashir Group of Companies has contributed to the preservation of Russian wildlife and has transferred funds to the autonomous non-commercial organization the "Amur Tiger Centre” to maintain its unique population of the Amur tiger. The funds will be used to assist the functioning and development of the specially protected natural territories in the Far-Eastern areas of Russia.

The centre, established within the guidelines of the purpose-oriented programme for the conservation of the Amur tiger, which was initiated by the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, solves issues associated with the preservation and increase of the unique population of the Amur tiger - the wealth of the country and the symbol of the Far East’s ecological well-being.

Being the largest national group of companies, Tashir recognizes its obligatory responsibility to society. Amur Tiger Centre

Amur Tiger Centre is an independent non-profit organization for preservation and study of Amur tiger. It was established in July 2013 by the Russian Geographical Society on the initiative of Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation. The main aim of the organization is to preserve the current size of Amur tiger population and lay the groundwork for increasing it. To solve this issue the Centre runs a number of activities for poaching prevention, including economic incentives, mobile forest and fauna monitoring, promotion of the non-poaching behavior, facilitating development of special protection territories in the Far Eastern Federal District, as well as popularizing of Amur tiger preservation efforts both in Russia and internationally.
