Within the framework of Moscow Urban Forum IV, Tashir Group and the Urban Studies Centre of the SKOLKOVO business school have signed an agreement of intent to conduct research aimed at the development of Moscow's real estate policy.

The agreement, signed on December 12 in the presence of deputy mayor Marat Khusnullin between the Tashir Group and the Moscow SKOLKOVO School of management, stipulates for joint research, results of which will contribute to development of the city's real estate policy.

Andrey Sharonov, Rector of the Moscow SKOLKOVO School of management: "Urban studies is an industry, where the interests of many companies intersect - from real estate to transport. Initially, we were going to create a centre of competence, which would have been in constant contact with the major players who are determining the development of the urban environment. Our Centre's research will help private businesses and city officials to identify the prospects and the opportunities for growth."

Zara Agemian, head of corporate communications and marketing of Tashir Group: "For many years, Tashir has been the developer of various types of real estate and has amassed considerable experience in implementing large-scale projects all over Russia. This research is being conducted for the first time and we hope that the agreement between the SKOLKOVO business school and the Tashir Group will give a new impetus to the further development and refinement of the urban policy concept in the field of the capital’s real estate."

The Moscow Urban Forum was held from December 11 to 14 at the Manege Central exhibition hall with the support of the Moscow Government. Tashir Group has traditionally acted as the General Partner of the forum. Tashir Group is an active participant in the Russian development market, the creator of modern, high-tech facilities in commercial and residential real estate. A number of challenges in the improvement and development of Moscow's infrastructure and creating the new face of the capital are being implemented by the Group.

The Group's project portfolio in the capital is diverse - from the construction of shopping centres, hotels, and major roads to the regeneration of buildings and city centre lighting. Tashir is committed to a long-term effective partnership with the city and support of its further development portfolio.
