December 5 to 7, Moscow Manege Hall hosted the III Moscow Urban Forum “Megacities— development beyond the centre”. The largest international conference on urbanism and town planning was held under the aegis of the Moscow Government to gather leaders of Russia’s as well as global cities and international experts.
Tashir Group being Moscow Government’s strategic partner and implementing dozens of successful projects together with the city, was the Forum’s General Partner for the third time in a row.
The Urban Forum became the first event for Tashir to present its new corporate style at its booth. Having kept all the best of the old image, Tashir identity became still more multi-faceted and dynamic while staying true to the classic approach integral to the Company's philosophy. The new logo reflects all the key business lines of Tashir. Each of the eight fundamental activities of the Group: finance, manufacturing, construction, development, energy, retail, entertainment, and restaurants is well represented by it.
Within the Forum frame, best international experts and heads of cities in Russia and worldwide were welcomed to discuss global issues of urbanism, best practices and the most promising city planning projects. Some of the participants included Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow; Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development and Construction; Sergey Kapkov, Head of the Department of Culture; Yasushi Aoyama, Professor at Meiji University, Tokyo, a doctor of political science and former Vice Governor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government; Milica Bajic Brkovic, President of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP), and many more.
