President and Founder of Tashir Group of  Companies:  Samvel S. Karapetyan

Mr. Karapetyan was born in 1965 in Tashir City, Armenia.  In 1986 he graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, Machine building faculty. Academic degree - Doctor of Economic Science.

In 1996 he headed OJSC Kalugaglavsnab, a KGS company. in Kaluga  which formed the basis of his future business.

In 1999 he founded Tashir Group and is currently the president.  In 2004 Tashir Group expanded its commercial real estate developement enterprises to  Moscow as well as throughout Russia  and is now one of the most successful multi-business companies in the country.In 2001 Patriarch Alexy II rewarded Samvel S. Karapetyan with order of the Saint Blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow, Second Class.

In 2011, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan rewarded Samvel S. Karapetyan with order of the Saint Mesrop Mashtots "for significant contributions to the protection of national interests and many years of fruitful activity in the name of Armenia"
