Tashir gets Emercom award

The Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Management (Emercom) has recognized the efforts of Tashir Management, Tashir Group’s managing company. The managing director for the groups’ entertainment and shopping centers has been decorated with an Emercom medal “For the Promotion of Rescue Matters.”

The Emergencies Minister, Lt. Gen. Yevgeny Zinichev, awarded the medal to Tashir Management managing director Yevgeny Fyodorov “for his contribution in implementing the national policy for civil defense, protecting the population and territories against natural and man-made disasters, and ensuring fire and water safety.”

“Visitor and staff safety has always been our priority at Tashir Group’s shopping centers. We have hundreds of thousands of people coming to our centers every day, so we have taken additional security measures in view of the increased number of bomb threats. We have regular drills and inspections, sometimes with government security agencies. We believe it is our duty, as professionals and as citizens, to work closely with Emercom. Of course, it is a great honor to us that our security and safety efforts have been recognized by the government,” Yevgeny Fyodorov said.
