Tashir Group will once again become General partner of the Moscow Urban Forum. This year the event will be held on June 30th-July 3rd at the Manege and titled “The Age of Megacities: Exploring Global, National and Local Priorities.” Tashir Group will be sponsoring the Forum for the sixth time.
This particular session of the forum will bring together mayors and experts from all over the world to discuss key urban trends and trends in territorial development on every level, from small towns to giant agglomerates. Some of the ideas to be debated include cities’ flexibility and ability to adapt to intense changes, interrelation of national interests and municipal policies, megapolises’ growth into agglomerates and the change from geographic zoning to the spatial sort that takes into account social, economic, transportation and other connections between territories within a city. During the four days of the forum a parallel urbanistics festival will be offering Urban Talks roundtables, presentations of research with discussions of findings as well as workshops, exhibitions, entertainment and cultural events for adults and children, athletics training, film screenings and special events in Moscow’s parks.
