Tashir Group is constructing Europe’s largest perinatal and cardiological centre in Europe—ahead of schedule, which may bring commissioning date substantially closer. Tashir is the project’s general contractor and began the works early in 2015. So far all preliminary work has been done, the pit is dug, the bed plate is nearly complete, columns, walls and floor slabs are being put together. At this rate the object may be complete in 2016 instead of 2017, as initially scheduled.
On the 30th of September the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin visited the Vorokhobov City Hospital no. 67, where the new perinatal and cardiological centre is rising up.
“Moscow will receive the largest and most state-of-the-art perinatal centre with a focus on cardiology for treating children with inborn heart problems,” he said. “It will be equipped with cutting-edge technology, replacing the outdated nativity clinic built here in the 1950s. Construction is proceeding at an excellent pace.”
The centre will have 450 beds, state-of-the-art medical equipment and everything needed for specialized care of pregnant women, women lying-in and infants with cardiovascular pathologies. It will also help predict and prevent such troubles in embryos at a very early gestational age. The centre will appear on the grounds of the Vorokhobov City Hospital no. 67 at 2/44 Salyama Adilya Street, whose superannuated nativity clinic was recently shut down.
Its successor will feature reception and discharge wards with advanced equipment, an obstetrics in-patient facility, a pediatrics block and a cardiodiagnostic centre for early detection and pregnancy planning.
