President of "Tashir Group Samvel Karapetyan became a laureate of national award "Man of the Year - 2011"

The award of winners "Man of the Year - 2011"organized by the Russian Biographical Institute, Institute for Economic Strategies and the Club of Orthodox businessmen took places on the December 14 in Moscow, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

This prestigious prize is awarded since 1993; this year's winners were Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, a heart surgeon, academician of RAMS Leo Bokeria, president of Tashir Group Samvel Karapetyan.

Samvel Karapetyan won in the category "Regional Development" for his contribution to the economic and cultural development of Russia's regions.

Tashir Group founded by Samvel Karapetyan actively involved in charity work and in many cities in Russia and abroad. In 2011 for charity was sent more than $20 million, including $5 million for the restoration of the Naval Cathedral of St Nicholas in Kronstadt.
