Tashir Group is set to begin work on another high-profile project—a multifunctional complex in the historical part of Moscow, on Krasnopresnenskaya Quay. Construction of the 93.7K sq m, USD 300 mln object will start in the middle of this summer.

The new complex to rise on the 1.7 ha plot will include office, commercial and residential space and underground parking for 884 vehicles. All works including design, construction, brokerage and management will be carried out by Tashir.

The address at 10 Krasnopresnenskaya Quay is located next to Moscow City international business center, Expocentre fairgrounds, the House of the Government of the Russian Federation and the city’s largest traffic routes—quays, Garden Ring, Third Ring Road, New Arbat Street and Kutuzovsky Avenue.

Andrey Ilyaev, Tashir’s Senior Vice President, says: “Moscow has always been a strategically important market for Tashir Group because of the quick growth of the country’s economy and long-term development prospects. We are happy to report we will soon start another project to further improve and update the capital’s image.”

The construction plan has been approved by the Moscow Urban Planning and Land Commission under the mayor Sergey Sobyanin. The plan mandates restoration and technical upgrade of a cultural landmark on the plot—the power station of the Trekhgornaya Manufaktura factory. The Genplan Institute of Moscow is now finalizing documentation for land use and architectural standards. The Department of Cultural Heritage is drafting preservation zoning rules.

Tashir Group has been present on the Moscow development market since 2005. Dozens of residential and commercial projects have been carried out since, including Raikin Plaza and Avenue South-West malls, RIO network, Rozmarin and Kronshtadtsky residential complexes, City Point multifunctional complex and the namesake business center, Novotel Moscow City inn etc. Several other projects are underway: multifunctional centers on Aminyevskoye Highway, on Tverskaya Street and in Skolkovo, a new RIO mall in Mytischi and others.
